Developer and coordinator of a project developed in conjunction with the North Carolina Dept of Public instruction.  This on line project allows students to learn the history of North Carolina while gaining skills in technology and improving their ability to think critically.  These materials are endorsed by the NCDPI and are used by Exploranet.

1997 Jason in North Carolina development team

University liaison to the Jason science project in North Carolina. A $250,000 project to provide cutting edge science experience to middle school students across the state. Assisted in acquiring funding, recruiting teachers and trainers for the project, and providing services to participating teachers. This national science project provides interaction between scientists in the field and school students. When fully implemented, this project will reach every 7th grade student in the state.

Created and maintained the website for the SWAT program. This program was developed by the National Technology Teacher of the Year and piloted nationally by this website.
