Using a previously created graph, select a range of data and choose the appropriate graph

Getting there

So somebody typed this one wrong.  It should be something like "Using a previously created spreadsheet...."
First open your spreadsheet program and fill it in like this:

Then highlight all the cells that contain labels or numbers.   Choose INSERT from the menu.  Now pick CHART.  You will see something like this:

Choose the type of chart you would like to produce.  Then click next.  On each successive page follow the instructions choosing your favorite option.

Your last option will be either on the current sheet, or as a separate sheet.  Separate sheets look nicer for printing, but on the sheet is better for illustrating a point.
