PRINT SERVER: a piece of computer equipment that allows multiple users to print to a printer connected to the LAN.

SECURITY PASSWORD:  A secret word that identifies a person as the authorized user associated with a user id.

WIDE AREA NETWORK (WAN): LAN's in several distant locations connected together (usually using telephone lines).  These WAN's usually have multiple servers.

WORKGROUP: a group of computers logically related.  This group will have a name and resources usually associated with this group of computers will usually appear as part of the workgroup.
