Aren't all disks the same?


NO!

Getting there

This is will be easy!

Floppy disks: there are several kinds,
Big (5.25") double density: 360 K
Big (5.25") High density: 1.2 Megabytes
Small (3.5") double density: 720 K
Small (3.5") High density (conveniently marked HD): 1.44 Megabytes

Hard disks:
anywhere from 10 Megabytes to several thousand (called Gigabytes)

CD-ROM's:
usually 650 Megabytes

ZIP drives:
usually about 100 Megabytes

That just about covers it!
