Explain the clipboard

Getting there

This is easy!  So if you highlight a word and then say COPY.   The computer remembers what you had highlighted.
The computer stores this picture in the CLIPBOARD.  This is a temporary memory that stores thinks that are copied.  But watch out!  It can only hold one thing at a time.  It is also shared between all the applications.
