Use a database to sort records

Go to RECORD and select SORT RECORDS.

 

This is so simple it almost isn't funny!

 

Remember sorting is like alphabetizing (or reverse alphabetizing).

 

You will see:521a.gif (5144 bytes)Notice that there are three sets of information.  That means you can sort on three different fields at once.  (Well sort of, notice it is SORT BY and THEN BY etc.  This means the first row is the primary and in the case of a tie, the second row is used etc.)

Use the drop down menu to choose NAME.  Then notice the RADIO BUTTONS (also521b.gif (3525 bytes) called dots), ASCENDING means lowest to highest.  DESCENDING means highest to lowest.

Click OK.  You will see:
